The brief of this project is something that turned me to it and really made my creative wheels turning. Although it was very much an average advertisement project, like many I did before, it had a little twist to it. The goal was to brake stereotypes and that is always a challenge for me. The design needed to represent wine, traditionally a “lady’s” drink, as a “manly” man’s drink.

The copy text for this poster add saying “L’indomptable” made it very clear to me that this design needed to represent exactly what it meant, something untameable, something invincible. So it needed to be clean and precise, not too much elements that would get the consumers off message. This is why the composition has only two elements, a successful, confident, “manly” man and his drink.
